Product description
Heather honey – 500 g jar from traveling beekeeper Remo Bunge
Our heather honey is a true rarity and a specialty from the Prignitz region. Migratory beekeeper Remo Bunge brings his bee colonies to the flowering heathlands in late summer. From late August to September, the heather ( Calluna vulgaris ) blooms in full bloom, providing the bees with a particularly rich nectar.
The heather honey obtained in this way is characterized by its amber to copper-red color, its tart, spicy flavor, and its slightly malty note. Its creamy, stirred consistency makes it unmistakable. Heather honey is not only a delicacy for connoisseurs, but also a valuable natural product steeped in tradition.
Genuine heather honey from the Prignitz region – pure, full of character, and directly from the producer.
