Acacia honey – 500 g jar from migratory beekeeper Remo Bunge
Our acacia honey is a particularly fine and exquisite type of honey. Migratory beekeeper Remo Bunge brings his bee colonies to the black locust trees (colloquially known as "acacias") in the Prignitz region in late spring. When the black locust trees are in full bloom in May and June, the bees collect the clear, delicate nectar.
The result is a honey that's almost as clear as water to light yellow in color, with a mildly sweet flavor and a delicate floral note. Thanks to its high fructose content, acacia honey stays liquid for an exceptionally long time—ideal for sweetening tea, yogurt, muesli, or simply as a smooth spread.
