The pepper mill is a well-proportioned and unusual heavy pepper and spice mill made of solid brass. Spices are added through the opening on the side, so you don't have to disassemble the mill to refill them. 'Chefs Mate' is intended only for paprika and other dried spices—not salt. The three-part grinding mechanism first feeds the spice downwards into the mechanism, then it is coarsely ground and finally finely ground. Alexander Mills (also known as Atlas Mills) are proven products that have been on the market since 1977 and meet high standards of quality and functionality.
