The pepper mill is a well-proportioned and unusual, heavy spice mill made of solid metal with a matte finish. Spices are added through the opening on the side, so you don't have to disassemble the mill to refill them. 'Chefs Mate' is intended only for paprika and other dried spices—not salt. The three-part grinder first feeds the spice downwards into the mechanism, then it is coarsely ground and finally finely ground. Alexander Mills (also known as Atlas Mills) are proven products that have been on the market since 1977 and meet high quality and functional standards.
